During the session you will work independently or in \;teams to develop a solution to a local or global sustainabili ty challenge of your choice\, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Go als.

\n\n

You will be given training and support to help you develop your idea\, as well as hear from researchers engaged in interdisciplinar y sustainability research. Continuing students (i.e. those still undergra duates in 2025-2026) will be able to take your idea further\, and choose to submit a factsheet \;for the main Reimagine our Future competition October to December\, run by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign\, in partnership with Birmingham.

This activity can contribute to \;The Birmingham Award.
