 cy\, what does it mean to study Classics at the University of Birmingham?
  Our distinguished panel of alumni and Brummie locals will offer their pe
 rsonal perspectives on Classics\, the community at Birmingham\, and their
  experience of studying Classics in the West Midlands.</p>\n\n<p>Join us 
 to hear reflections from:</p>\n\n<ul>\n	<li><strong>Natalie Haynes</stron
 g>: Born and raised in Birmingham\, Natalie is a writer\, broadcaster\, c
 omedian\, and classicist\, best known for her reimagining of Greek myths.
 </li>\n	<li><strong>Peter Sommer</strong>: Peter studied Ancient History 
 and Archaeology here at Birmingham\, building a career as an archaeologis
 t\, award winning producer and director\, and founder of a multi-award wi
 nning archaeology tour company.</li>\n	<li><strong>Dr Polly Stoker</stron
 g>: Following a PhD in Classics from the University\, Polly is a speciali
 st in women&#39\;s creative responses to classical literature and culture
  in the twentieth and twenty first centuries.</li>\n	<li><strong>Professo
 r&nbsp\;Patrick Finglass</strong>: Patrick learnt Latin and Greek while a
 t school in Birmingham. Now\, he is President of the Bristol branch of th
 e Classical&nbsp\;Association\, editor of Classical Quarterly\, and on th
 e editorial boards for Oxford Classical Texts.</li>\n</ul></body></html>
