 tudents.</p>\n\n<p>Violence against women and girls is a national crisis\
 , with experiences of domestic abuse devastatingly common in our society.
  Did you know that <strong>1 in 4 women</strong> over 16 will experience 
 domestic abuse in their lifetime?</p>\n\n<p>Everyone deserves a relations
 hip free from abuse. That&#39\;s why Women&#39\;s Aid are offering free t
 raining for university students.</p>\n\n<p>This training aims to develop 
 the knowledge and skills to understand and recognise domestic abuse\, bui
 ld healthy relationships\, and be a safe\, active bystander.</p>\n\n<p>Th
 rough this session you will:</p>\n\n<ul>\n	<li><strong>Recognise the sign
 s of domestic abuse: </strong>understand the types of abuse and coercive 
 control\, and learn what makes a relationship healthy and respectful.</li
 >\n	<li><strong>Be&nbsp\;a supportive active bystander:</strong> get equi
 pped with the knowledge to know if you&#39\;re witnessing abuse\, and con
 fidently and safely support that person\, helping to create a safer commu
 nity for all.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>These sessions are open to all students o
 f all genders\, and may be of particular interest to students conisdering
