 ication) and conflict-resolution competencies are increasingly recognised
  as essential requirements by organisations such the Solicitors Regulatio
 n Authority\, the General Medical Council\, the Engineering Council\, the
  Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers\, and the Chartered
  Management Institute. The workshop is informed by the negotiation and pr
 ofessional communication&rsquo\;s standards of these organisations and by
  employers&rsquo\; expectations.&nbsp\;</p>\n\n<p>What is it about?</p>\n
 \n<p>The workshop will involve practical negotiation simulations and real
 -life scenarios relating to business\, community and professional dispute
 s. Students will engage in negotiation\, reframing difficult conversation
 s\, conflict resolution\, active listening\, and collaborative problem-so
 lving.</p>\n\n<p>Participants will receive:</p>\n\n<ul>\n	<li>lunch and r
 efreshments\; and</li>\n	<li>a Certificate of Attendance from the Univers
 ity of Birmingham Dubai</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Places are limited and will be
