 l communication) and conflict-resolution competencies are increasingly re
 cognised as essential requirements by organisations such the Solicitors R
 egulation Authority\, the General Medical Council\, the Engineering Counc
 il\, the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers\, and the C
 hartered Management Institute. The workshop is informed by the negotiatio
 n and professional communication&rsquo\;s standards of these organisation
 s and by employers&rsquo\; expectations.</p>\n\n<p>What is it about?</p>\
 n\n<p>The workshop will involve practical negotiation simulations and rea
 l-life scenarios relating to business\, community and professional disput
 es. Students will engage in negotiation\, reframing difficult conversatio
 ns\, conflict resolution\, active listening\, and collaborative problem-s
 olving.</p>\n\n<p>Participants will receive:</p>\n\n<ul>\n	<li>lunch and 
 refreshments\; and</li>\n	<li>a Certificate of Attendance from the Univer
 sity of Birmingham Dubai</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Places are limited and will be
