 joy\, whether your voice is your daily means of expression or the corners
 tone of your livelihood\, many of us go through our day knowing very litt
 le about how our voice works or how to care for it.</p>\n\n<p><a href="ht
 tps://vocalhealth.co.uk/">Vocal Health Education</a> is a not-for-profit 
 dedicated to high quality education about vocal health and rehabilitation
 . On behalf of Vocal Health Education\, Michael Mandalios presents this w
 orkshop exclusively for UoB students to provide tools for strengthening v
 oice function\, developing resonance and articulation\, understanding the
  fundamentals of vocal anatomy\, and building a range of skills for preve
 nting hoarseness\, fatigue\, and loss of voice function.<br />\n<br />\nY
 ou&#39\;ll learn about how your voice works\, what can go wrong\, and wha
 t you can do if and when it does. The practical component of the workshop
  will involve developing proprioceptive skills for breath\, alignment and
  making sound\, as well as strengthening\, releasing and conditioning exe
 rcises for vocal power and agility. We&#39\;ll also make time for&nbsp\;q
 uestions and myth-busting\, to answer the age-old questions about milk\, 
 caffeine\,&nbsp\;&pound\;100 lozenges\, weightlifting\, and more!</p>\n\n
