Overview

Speaking in public is often rated as being scarier than wild dogs, spiders or death.

This half day course delivered by science communication expert James Piercy will support you to build confidence in public speaking and help you to understand your audience and how to adapt your style for different ages and audience numbers.

The training is open to all UoB students as part of the UoB Xtra Programme and will take place in person at an on campus venue on Wednesday 5 June, 13:30-16:30.

This event is being organised by the Public and Cultural Engagement Team as part of the UoB Xtra Programme.

Spaces are limited and will be offered to those who register first.

A confirmation email will be sent when a place on the session is confirmed.
