As part of Green Week, this special seminar series brings together three researchers whose work spans climate science, mental health, and human behaviour.

Professor Yuli Shan will explore global trends in methane emissions and the economic and supply chain forces shaping them. Dr Stephanie Burnette Heyes will introduce new research on how climate change impacts young people’s mental health, including innovative experimental approaches to eco distress and pathways to youth engagement in conservation. Dr Todd Vogel will present a fresh behavioural science perspective on prosocial action, examining how environmental context and personal motivations influence when people choose to help others.

Together, these talks highlight the diverse ways research across LES contributes to understanding and addressing the challenges of a changing planet.
