Starting University can be daunting, but there are lots of teams and departments here to support you throughout your time as a student. The Welcome Fair is available in the Great Hall between 10:00 and 11:00 to meet staff from some of those teams and departments in a quieter setting, with reduced capacity.
You'll be able to find out useful information and ask any questions you might have.
Sign up to book your quiet hour slot (available from 19 August) or talk to the staff members on the door.

- IT Service desk for support with email, passwords, wifi, devices, and much more!
- Library Services for information about our libraries, including study spaces, study skills support with the Academic Skills Centre, and our Special Collections.
- Sustainable Travel for all your travel needs, including bus passes, local transport options, and more.
- Birmingham International Academy for support with your English language skills.
- Sport & Fitness to find out about the full range of sporting and fitness opportunities, whatever your level and interest - make sure to look out for the Sport & Fitness Fair too!
- Careers Network to find out how they can support you throughout your studies, with internships, placements, skills development, and much more.
- Worklink for flexible, part-time work on campus.
- Community Safety Team to help you feel confident about staying safe on and off campus.
