In collaboration with our employer partner Turner & Townsend, you'll work in an interdisciplinary group to tackle a real-world business problem. Places on the programme are limited and typically oversubscribed, so make sure to work on your application beforehand.
The Centre for Responsible Business and the Responsible Business Group at Birmingham Business School have set up a clothes donation box for Green Week. Staff and students are invited to drop off any unwanted, good condition - clothing they have. The donation box can be found in University House, in the passage between the old building and the new annex on the ground floor.

Throughout Green Week, pop into the Main Library Foyer to borrow books and access e-resources to expand your reading on sustainability issues, as well as find practical tips for how you can be more sustainable. All the print books on the display are available for you to borrow immediately, or scan the QR codes to access e-books and e-resources, including our subscriptions to Nature Sustainability and Ethical Consumer.

For UoB Xtra 2026 (8-26 June), we’re inviting Guild societies to be part of the action! These are fantastic opportunities to show off what your group does to the wider community and encourage other students to get involved. Host an activity or perform on the stage, and you could earn £150 for your society's funds, or nominate a film to be shown on our outdoor cinema and see your society's name up in lights!
