Complete your essential Welcome admin at the Welcome Registration Hub, which brings together key teams into one location, helping you get sorted quickly and efficiently. The Welcome Registration Hub is open daily throughout Arrivals Weekend and Welcome Week, and week days until Friday 3 October.

Right to Study checks

Students who require a visa to study in the UK must complete a Right to study check. You will start the process online, using My Right to Study, and complete the process at an in-person appointment in the Welcome Registration Hub. You must book an appointment to attend - if you attend without an appointment or at a time outside of your appointment, you will be turned away. Once you have completed your Right to Study check, you can receive your student ID card.

ID card collection

ID card collection will be available for:

  • UK students who completed Online Registration after Wednesday 3 September
  • Students without a UK address
  • International students, once you have completed your Right to Study check

You will need to bring valid photo ID to collect your ID card, such as a passport or driving licence. You do not need to book an appointment to collect your ID card, unless you require a Right to Study check.
