No experience is required for this open workshop delivered in association with the Sonia Sabri Company, known for their exceptional dance and musical experiences rooted in Kathak and Indian classical music but drawing on contemporary influences.
All kinds of instruments (plus vocalists) are welcome. There will be some traditional South Asian instruments available to borrow, including Sitar, Harmonium, Tabla, and Dholak.
Email the University Music Hub to reserve your place. The workshop will take place in the Rehearsal Space located in the basement on the Frankland Building, accessed via the entrance on the Ring Road South (near the Old Gym).
