Throughout Black History Month B Film and the Race Equality Network are collaborating to deliver a range of film screenings followed by facilitated discussions.

This screening is of Blue Story, a British crime drama told through rap, following a gang war in South London.

The film will be introduced and hosted by Niyah Campbell, Senior Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Lead in the Institute of Mental Health, and Outreach Officer for the Race Equality Network. Following the Black History Month theme of Reclaiming Narratives, Niyah will explore the perceptions and media coverage of the film, alongside his own reflections of the important story it tells.

This screening is open to all University of Birmingham staff and students. Register now.
