Enjoy a traditional family Carols in the Park at Selly Oak Park and support your local community. Hot drinks from 16:30, carols from 17:00, supported by musicians from local churches. Please note this is a local community event outside of campus.

Every Sunday throughout December the museum comes alive with the sounds and sights of the season - drop-in for a free performance by Brummie Gems Molly Dancers - you won't have seen Morris Dancers like these before! Performances at 11:30 and 13:30.

Many of us remember loved ones no longer here at Christmas. Join Birmingham Hospice with an intimate and warm celebration, supporting your local hospice. Wrap up warm for an outdoor service with songs, readings, and the lighting of the tree.

Watch the festive classic The Muppet Christmas Carol at the Lapworth Museum of Geology! Bring your own snacks and watch one of the most iconic Christmas movies next to our Allosaurus Roary! Student tickets £9.37.

Got some last minute shopping? Meet Santa at Selly Oak Retail Park in his speedboat (yes, really!), supporting his friends 1st King's Norton Sea Scouts! Say hello, take photos, share chocolate, and make a donation to support the Scout group.

Pop down to the Green for this fantastic yearly event! Led by the Vicar of St. Francis of Assisi Church, this tradition started in 1949 and brings our village and neighbours together to kick off Christmas celebrations.
