Reflecting on God's words: How to do business - the right way: 4pm - 5pm; Dome Room, Bramall Music Building; Join this week's workshop with UBISOC, with Mustafa Razzak (Muslim Chaplain), to discuss what the words of God and the Quran teach us teach us about doing business and the right way to do it!

Residence Life: A postcard to your future self: noon - 3pm; The Shack, Vale Village; As part of University Mental Health Day, Res Life invite you to take a pause, reflect and connect with future you. Join us for a simple but powerful wellbeing activity where you’ll write a postcard to yourself, to receive back at the end of the year.

Guild of Students: St Patrick's Day: 5pm - 8pm; Social Space, Pritchatts Park; Are you feeling lucky? Because we have the event for you! Celebrate St Patricks Day with a live céilí band, scavenger hunt, crafts, photobooth, and more! Free for students in UoB and partner accommodation.

Mon 16th March

Guild of Students: Seeds of creativity, roots for the planet: 5pm - 7pm; Games Room, Calthorpe Court; Join your Res Life team to make seeded bookmarks and enjoy our plantable seed tokens and enjoy a delicious treat from the waffle food truck! Free for students living in UoB and partner accommodation.

Housemate Finder: 5pm - 7pm; Social Space, Pritchatts Park; Meet other students who are looking to move into a property together for the upcoming academic year. Guild Wellbeing assistants will be there to prompt conversations and help facilitate discussions, helping you find your dream housemates!

Tue 17th March

Making sustainability work for you: action, advocacy and employability: 1pm - 2pm; Amos Room, Guild of Students; Take what you know about sustainability, through curricular and extra-curricular ways, and understand how you can turn it into action and career progression, with your Guild of Students.

Guild of Students: Chai, Chaat & Sustain: 2:15pm - 3:45pm; Beorma Bar, Guild of Students; Celebrate Green Week with a special edition of Chai, Chaat, and Chill! Join your Ethnic Minority Students Officer at Beorma Bar for a relaxed afternoon of connection and conversation, including climate issues.

Residence Life: Sow Far, Sow Good – seed bombs and bug hotels: 5pm - 7pm; Social Space, Mason; Lack of biodiversity bugging you? Help make the Vale friendly for more than just the students, making bug hotels and participate in some eco-vandalism! Free for students in UoB and partner accommodation.

Her Seat at the Table: Becoming a Female Leader: 2pm - 4:30pm; Lecture Theatre 8 (Room 301), Arts building; Women’s Guild Officer, Lucy McCabe, will be hosting a panel of leading female professionals who will share their experiences of navigating the workplace and discuss how to tackle some of the challenges you may face.

Guild of Students: Wellbeing Café: 4pm - 7pm; Social Space, Pritchatts Park; Worried about the environment? Global warming getting a little bit too hot? Join us at this month's Wellbeing Café for some eco-friendly crafting, cuddle up to a therapy dig, and take home your own piece of greenery to brighten up your space.

Guild of Students: Nature walk: noon - 2:30pm; Meet at Bournbrook Pavillion; Join us for a nature walk around Selly where we will be discovering small pockets of green space and contributing to the greenery in the area!

Residence Life: Paper flower bouquets: 5pm - 7pm; Social Space, Metalworks; Join your Res Life team to create some beautiful paper bouquets, all using leftover supplies from our other wonderful activities! Free for students in UoB and partner accommodation.

PGR Film Club: 6pm - 9pm; Seminar Room, Westmere House; Join us this Green Week for a screening of David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet, exclusively for our Postgraduate Research (PGR) community. We'll also have pizza, soft drinks, and comfy beanbags!

Sat 21st March

Residence Life: Eid Feast Night - a halls celebration!: 5pm - 7pm; Social Space, Battery Park; Join us for a warm and festive evening as we celebrate Eid together right here in halls! We'll be serving tasty curries and indulgent brownies - make sure to pick up a goody bag too! Free for students in UoB and partner accommodation.

Fri 27th March

Sexual health advice with Umbrella: 11:30am - 2:30pm; Reception, Guild of Students; We’re bringing vital sexual health services directly to your doorstep! Visit our Umbrella Stall at the Guild for FREE, confidential support, including sexual health advice, free contraception and information, and STI testing kits.
