Internationally acclaimed violinist Christian Tetzlaff brings his quartet to Birmingham for the first time. It is a privilege to welcome them - founded in 1992, the Tetzlaff Quartet is one of the world’s leading string quartets. Student tickets £5.

The Symphony Orchestra perform some of the most popular Scandinavian music in the repertoire, including Sibelius's tone poem Finlandia. Symphony Orchestra will be joined by String Orchestra, led by student conductor Evie Ghauri. Tickets £5.

We celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Richard Rodney Bennett with a performance of his film-score-like Partita, and give the second-ever performance of Ryan Latimer’s Dromsong, commissioned for our 125 Anniversary. Tickets £5.

Join leading percussionist Colin Currie for an inclusive workshop focusing on Steve Reich’s minimalist masterpiece, Clapping Music. Originally written for two performers, we take on the challenge of a mass performance. Register for your free place.

Colin Currie brings his percussion quartet to the CrossCurrents new music festival for an evening celebrating Steve Reich's 90th Birthday year. A highlight is a mass community performance of Clapping Music following a public workshop. Tickets £5.
