Welcome Registration Hub: 9am - 4pm; Marquee next to the Main Library; The Welcome Registration Hub brings together key teams to help you complete essential administrative tasks, including ID card collection and Right to Study checks for international students.

Plant Sale: 10am - 7pm; Staff House/University Centre plaza; The ever popular plant sale is back! Come along and grab some green goodness for your room. Whatever your style, there's something for everyone with over 250 types of plants, and everything you need to take care of them.

What do students do all day?: How to build academic skills into your daily routine.: 1pm - 2pm; 4th Floor Training Room, Main Library; This session explores how students spend their time, how they talk about their day, and how you can shape your own study habits. With real examples and practical tips, you’ll leave with ideas for building academic skills into your daily routine.

Prepare for final year or your dissertation with The Academic Skills Centre: 2pm - 3pm; Online; This workshop, specifically tailored for final year UG students, will help you manage your time and work-load and strengthen your critical thinking and academic voice as you start to prepare for final year projects or dissertations.

Bread and Belief: Making bread, exploring belonging: 4pm - 6pm; Oasis Lounge, Multifaith Chaplaincy; Bake, eat and take bread home, All people and perspectives are welcome at our regular Bread & Belief sessions. Spaces are limited.

Consent & Bystander Intervention Workshop: 5pm - 6pm; Basement Rehearsal Space, Guild of Students; Join a bespoke peer-led consent workshop, designed to explore the topic of consent and empower you to become an active bystander who can confidently challenge harmful or negative behaviours.

Community Wellbeing Café: 1pm - 3pm; Reception, Guild of Students; Take a break and join us at the monthly Community Wellbeing Café. Enjoy free refreshments in a relaxed setting at the Guild of Students while accessing practical advice, wellbeing resources, and support.

International Students' Meet & Greet: 3pm - 5pm; Amos, Guild Of Students; New to Birmingham and want to meet fellow students from around the world?

Night at the Museum Screening - Lapworth Museum After Hours: 7pm - 9pm; Lapworth Museum of Geology; Watch Night at the Museum inside an actual Museum! Join us for a free students-only movie night, welcoming you to Birmingham!

Welcome to Halls Neuro Night: Mario Kart Tournament: 4pm - 7pm; Chamberlain Social Space; Join your Guild of Students for the first Neuro Night of the year in Chamberlain Social Space. This video games night edition, will feature Mario Kart, Mario Party, EA FC 26, Overcooked, and more.

Cheese & Wine Social for Postgraduate & Mature Students: 5pm - 7:30pm; Beorma Bar, Guild of Students; Take some time to unwind and get to know your fellow postgraduate and mature students in a relaxed setting! Non-alcoholic drink and vegan cheese options will be available.

Careers Support for Postgraduate Researchers: An Introduction: noon - 1pm; Online; This short one-hour webinar will introduce the online resources, upcoming events, and other support that you can make the most of your time as a Postgraduate Researcher in the 2026-27 academic year.
