Outdoor cinema: Love, Simon: 5pm - 6:15pm; Green Heart; Simon is keeping a huge secret from his family, friends, and classmates: he's gay. Now that secret is threatened and Simon must face everyone. Love, Simon is funny and heartfelt, and was chosen as part of the Guild of Students' Pride on Campus.

Tue 9th June

Outdoor cinema: Life of Pi: 3pm - 5:30pm; Green Heart; Join us on an epic journey of discovery with Life of Pi, Ang Lee's fantastical movie about a young man who survives a disaster at sea with another survivor... a fearsome Bengal tiger. This film was chosen by the Bharatanatyam Society.

Outdoor cinema: The Book of Life: 5:30pm - 7:15pm; Green Heart; Dive into the fantastical worlds of the Land of the Remembered and the Land of the Forgotten as our hero Manolo embarks on an incredible Day of the Dead adventure, reminding us to celebrate the past whilst looking forward to the future.

Wed 10th June

Outdoor cinema: McLaren: 3pm - 4:30pm; Green Heart; From humble beginnings to the elite of motor racing, follow the life of Bruce McLaren, founder of the McLaren Racing Team. This documentary film was chosen for you by the Formula 1 Society.

Thu 11th June

Outdoor cinema: Lilo & Stitch: 1pm - 2:30pm; Green Heart; Ohana means family, so grab your favourite people and head on down to the Green Heart for Lilo & Stitch, Disney's classic tale of a little girl and her extraterrestrial pet, chosen for you by the children at the Birmingham Day Nurseries!

Outdoor cinema: Wicked: For Good: 2:30pm - 4:45pm; Green Heart; Hold space for Wicked: For Good this UoB Xtra, as the hit musical sequel brings Glinda and Elphaba's story to an epic conclusion. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande star alongside Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeo and more!

Outdoor cinema: Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: 5pm - 6:45pm; Green Heart; Angelina Jolie stars as the iconic Lara Croft in this film adaptation of the classic British video game, travelling to exotic locations to uncover ancient artifacts. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider was chosen by the Video Games Society!

Fri 12th June

Outdoor cinema: Pitch Perfect: noon - 2pm; Green Heart; A-ca-scuse me? Pitch Perfect on the big screen? We are so in! Channel your inner Barden Bella and head on down to the Green Heart for this fan favourite, chosen by the Pole Fitness Society.

Outdoor cinema: Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves: 2:30pm - 5pm; Green Heart; A charming thief, a band of unlikely adventurers, and an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic: there's no need to roll for initiative, just roll on down to the Green Heart for Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves, as chosen by the Tolkien Society!

Outdoor cinema: Mamma Mia!: 5pm - 6:45pm; Green Heart; When all is said and done, this summer classic needs absolutely no introduction. Chosen by popular demand, round off a week of UoB Xtra fun with sun, sea, and ABBA's greatest hits.

Sat 20th June

Summer solstice celebration: 11am - 3pm; The Exchange, Centenary Square; Head to The Exchange for family-friendly storytelling and dance workshops inspired by traditions and rituals linked to the longest day of the year, make your own sun catcher, and join in crafts and music inspired by the sun.
