Whether you're just staring your PhD or deep in writing, everyone needs a proper break. Your new PhD Society is making it happen - providing a relaxed space to unwind, grab a drink, and connect with fellow PhD students from across disciplines.

This workshop will introduce public engagement and involvement with research, providing the knowledge to help develop engagement activity with diverse audiences, as well as the time to reflect on how you may apply this to your research.

Discover how research is translated into real-world impact in policy, industry, and society, featuring award-winning researchers Prof. Yemisi Takwoingi, Dr Alana Farrell, and Dr Tom Goodman. The Keynote will kickstart our UDS Showcase, open to all!
